The Yamaha FP8500B Belt Drive Single Kick Drum Pedal is a high quality single bass drum pedal from Yamaha, featuring a belt drive with a design that’s aimed at being simple to use and suitable for playing a huge range of music styles and genres. The pedal features a minimalistic frame design, which not only gives the pedal is simplistic aesthetic, but allows you to easily adjust the aspects of the pedal. These include a new spring tension adjuster with a self-locking feature, a simple beater angle adjuster and a simple hoop clamp mechanism. Everything can be simply and easily adjusted with a drum key, making this pedal ideal for gigging and travelling drummers alike.

Beater Shaft LockerThe teardrop-shaped shaft hole holds the shaft securely. The shaft’s flat surface keeps the 2-way beater from swiveling while playing.

Beater Angle AdjustmentLoosening the adjustment screw lets you freely adjust the beater angle along with the footboard angle.

Spring Tension Adjustment with Self LockOne hand spring tension adjustment is easy. A lock bolt secures the setting to prevent loosening during play.

Simple Hoop Clamp MechanismA wing bolt firmly tightens the clamp for secure attachment. It also allows the clamp to accommodate different hoop thicknesses.

Spring Roller with Built-in BearingsPrecision bearings deliver smooth, natural pedal action.

Base Frame Tie RodsRubber coated tie rod ends prevent the footboard and base frame from becoming disconnected.
