I can’t believe no one has left a review for this product! I have had these cymbals for about two weeks and would like to give my initial review. Overall these were worth every penny. I have never been a fan of rubber cymbals. Aesthetically speaking they are just ugly. Part of the reason I did an acoustic conversion was to feel like I was playing the real thing; rubber cymbals kill that feeling. Secondly, playing on rubber feels unnatural. These cymbals are the closest thing you will get to real acoustic cymbals. Overall the triggering has been above average. I had to do some initial tweaking, but I expected that would be the case and they provide you with helpful suggestions. I bought an extra crash along with this set, and I have had some issues with one of my crashes not wanting to always trigger correctly. As a heads up, I think it is worth noting that rubber cymbals will be quieter. Having said that, my wife is not annoyed by the tapping sound. The best way to describe the sound would be hitting two drum sticks together. For the price you can’t go wrong. You are getting a set of electronic cymbals for the price of one Roland 16″ 3 zone ride.
